In April we held a forum to bring together experts from Cardiff University's cancer and engineering research teams. The event saw over forty researchers share their research, discover new areas of interest and make links with other key academics.
Attendance at the last forum showed a greater representation from the School of Engineering. This time we want the focus to be on you: the cancer community. Join us to hear from fellow cancer researchers and share your work with engineers who are eager to collaborate and help improve research for cancer patients. The School of Engineering includes specialists in medical engineering (clinical/bioengineering) as well as the more conventional (civil/electronic/mechanical), so there is scope for them to work with cancer researchers a variety of ways.
The aim of the Forum is to share research, discover new areas of interest and make links with other key researchers in this very important area. We invite contributions from all researchers (academic staff, research staff and PhD students) in the form of short (10 min) talks. Calls for contributions and registration will close on Tuesday 3rd September at midday.
