Research is at the forefront of what drives improvements in the quality of cancer care. The breadth of this research affects everything we do in clinical practice. Clinical research can be used to ask very simple questions that are often best formulated by those who work in a clinical environment. Clinical research is now very much considered a multi-disciplinary team collaboration with specialists in various areas bringing their skills to a group. We wish to explore the barriers to developing clinical research ideas with a specific focus on cancer.
We have put together a short questionnaire, which explores the challenges in developing and delivering cancer related clinical research ideas in the NHS in Wales and beyond.
We are particularly interested in the barriers that are perceived in terms of leading such research and developing research concepts.
This questionnaire has been developed in collaboration between the Wales Cancer Research Centre and the Cancer Research UK core funded cancer division of the Centre for Trials Research.
The questionnaire should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. The survey closes on the 25th of October.
